 MEDIA DESIGN SCHOOL OPEN DAY

At Media Design School we know that the world students are entering bears little resemblance to the world that their parents entered when they left high school for further study.

Today’s high school students face education and career opportunities that are a world away from the options that were available to their parents.

A New World of Possibilities

The fastest growing, most lucrative careers are increasing in sectors that didn’t exist just a decade ago and within these sectors new roles are emerging and converging that are changing the employment landscape.

Designers now come in many forms – digital, motion, graphic, interactive and brand.

Computer geeks have become the new cool as they take on the world as app developers, game programmers, level designers, software engineers and web developers.

3D artists have become animators, riggers, modellers, concept artists, game artists and visual effects artists.

So how do parents make sense of it all?

Media Design School proudly presents a free seminar for parents who want to help their children make informed study and career decisions, be aware of the options available in industry and understand the evolving attitudes of employers and the changing face of the workplace.
