PHYS ED 301
PE 301 is fully “internally assessed” in all schools ie there are no external exams in this subject. However the assessments for each AS (Achievement Standard) will be a mix of practical and theoretical work.
This subject is studied for 4 hours per week. There is allocated gym time, and some time will be spent out of the classroom applying theory to practice. Both aspects are linked.
The course is made up of five Achievement Standards (ie 5 ‘units’ of work), and each is assessed near the completion of the unit.
