Visual Art - 201
Visual Arts 201 is a course that covers two Achievement Standards (AS) and for each Achievement Standard there is a mixture of practical based tasks and Art Theory. These involve students learning how to use and experiment with paint, drawing, construction and design processes. The Art Theory involves students interpreting and understanding Art styles and selected artists work.
There is one external Achievement Standard in Painting. Assessment for this is in the form of two Art Boards (an Art Folio). These are sent to Wellington in early November for marking.
