Compassionate Considerations
If a student misses an external assessment for a reason outside theirr control they can ask for a compassionate consideration. They can qualify for this if:
  1. They have been, or are, ill providing they have a doctor's certificate.
  2. There are special circumstances that have prevented them from getting to the examination or making the submission. These circumstances will have to be unusual and accompanied by a written request from parents.
Compassionate consideration means that the school will be asked for an opinion on:
  1. Whether the student has passed or would have passed and
  2. What grade  would be expected.
The school does this based on the quality of the student's school work and on results in schools tests and examinations.

To get a Compassionate Consideration contactthe Deputy Principal.

It is very important that contact is made with the school as soon as possible if an external assessment is missed.
