Drama 201
The Drama course is offered to all students from year 9 to year 13. It provides a canvas for students to grow in confidence as they explore the unique, rich diversity present in Aotearoa. It is a window through which students can explore and examine human experiences through imagined roles and situations.
Year 12 Drama at Kaipara College is a full year course of study with 1hour periods four times a week. The course consists of Level 2 NCEA (National Certificate of Educational Achievement), totalling 21 Credits. Most standards will be internally assessed and there will be a 1 ½ hr external written exam at the end of the year. The course will require work to be done in and out of class. Students must maintain an on-going portfolio which will help with the external exam.
