
GRAPHICS 101
Graphics 101 is a course in which students will be assessed on instrumental and freehand drawing skills and their ability to apply the design process to identified needs and opportunities, showing design features and functions.
It consists entirely of a Achievement Standards. 12 credits are internally assessed and a further 12 credits are externally assessed.
The internal assessments will require students to complete 3 assignments covering the three main areas of Architecture, Engineering and Media.
The external assessment requires students to put together a portfolio of work containing their best examples of instrumental and freehand drawings. This work is sent to Wellington for marking.
Graphics is studied for 4 hours per week.
