
GRAPHICS 201
Graphics 201 is a course in which students will be assessed on 2D & 3D instrumental drawing and 2D & 3D freehand drawing skills and their ability to explain design and its implication for society.
It consists entirely of a Achievement Standards. 12 credits are internally assessed and a further 12 credits are externally assessed.
The internal assessments will require students to complete 3 assignments covering the three main areas of Architecture, Engineering and Media.
The external assessment requires students to put together a portfolio of work containing their best examples of 2D & 3D instrumental and 2D & 3D freehand drawings. Also a project on “Design in Society”. This work is sent to Wellington for marking.
Graphics is studied for 4 hours per week.
