Graphics 301
Graphics 301 is a course in which students will be assessed on their ability to select and use specialised graphics techniques and knowledge.
It consists entirely of Achievement Standards. 15 credits are internally assessed and a further 9 credits are externally assessed.
The internal assessments will require students to complete 3 assignments covering the three main areas of Architecture, Engineering and Media. At this level of graphics students are encouraged to write their own briefs one of which must be negotiated with a client.
The external assessment requires students to submit two assignments one for the negotiated brief the other presenting a design solution using specialised graphics knowledge. This work is sent to Wellington for marking.
