
Performance Music 301
Level Three Performance Music is a course made up from internal AS (Achievement Standards). All Achievement Standards are internally assessed. These internal assessments take place at the completion of each unit of work, spread out over the academic year. Achievement Standard 90775 is optional.
Other Unit and Achievement Standards are available for students depending on the particular music interests; e.g. Sound Engineering, recording and theory. Any additional standards may be entered after discussion with the HOD Music.
Level Three Performance Music provides a total of 30 credits. The subject is studied 4 hours per week.
All units in this course require students to manage time well and work continuously on tasks for homework. It is expected that students will performance regularly in public throughout the academic year. Each performance is recorded and videoed for assessment purposes.
