Photography- 301
Photography 301 is a course that covers three Achievement Standards (AS). For each Achievement Standard there is a mixture of practical tasks and theory tasks. These involve students learning how to use a camera and a variety of processes and techniques in the darkroom. The theory will involve students researching contemporary art practices and identifying artists to use as models for their own work.
Two achievement Standards are internally assessed. These achievement standards involve investigating ideas and methods relating to art and artworks in the context of photography and researching established practice (artist models). The external achievement standard is an Art Photograpghy Board folio of original work based on ideas the students have developed during the year.
