Phys Ed 101
PE 101 is fully “internally assessed” in all schools ie there are no external exams in this subject. However the assessments for each AS (Achievement Standard) will be a mix of practical and theoretical work.
This subject is studied for 4 hours per week. Two hours are allocated gym time, and two to the theory work in the classroom. Both aspects are linked.
The course is made up of five Achievement Standards (ie 5 ‘units’ of work), and each is assessed near the completion of the unit.
