Phys Ed 201
PE 201 is fully “internally assessed” in all schools ie there are no external exams in this subject. However the assessments for each AS (Achievement Standard) will be a mix of practical and theoretical work. 17 Level 2 credits are available.
This subject is studied for 4 hours per week. There is no allocated gym time, but some time will be spent out of class applying theory in practical situations. Both aspects are linked.
The course is made up of four Achievement Standards (ie 4 ‘units’ of work), and each is assessed near the completion of the unit.
