Care and Support for International Students at Kaipara College

Home-stays
Kaipara College organises its own home-stays for International Students.
The home-stays are checked very carefully and are supervised personally by our Director of International Students.
A range of different home-stays are available within the school district to choose from.
Students who are further than 4.5 kms from the College have access to bus transport to school.

Extra Help
International Students are provided with extra classes in English
Students also have access to extra help with their studies.

Care, Support and Advice
Students are looked after by our International Student team.  They have access to a range of services provided at the school, including;

• Careers advice
• Advice for International students going on to University
• Health service
• Social services
• Counselling

the College has a licence from the Government which guarantees that it meets New Zealand's high standards for looking after International Students.
